The Oilies' ninth album Earth and Sun and Moon shows a move away from glossy production to a worldier, worthier rawness. Stubbly bass lines and skinny guitar shapes jut from every corner. "Drums of Thunder [Heaven]" shares the same powerful insistence.
Not strictly a review, this was found on the inlay to a CD from Vox magazine, which featured the track Drums of Heaven.
