Fortunately the same was not true on their second release, Head Injuries (great title). From start to finish this is a stoked and smokin' piece of punk-inspired hard rock with Garrett wailing away as though his life depended on it. Furious, relentless, chocked to the brim with solid songs, and fierce playing, Head Injuries is hands-down the best of The Oils' early output.
